Are Uric Acid Stone Formers Diabetes

What factors contribute to the formation of uric acid kidney stones? Uric acid stones arise when uric acid levels in the urine are abnormally high and/or the urine is excessively acidic on a regular basis. These sorts of stones may be inherited. Inherited abnormalities in the way the body processes uric acid or protein in the diet might result in an increase in urine acidity.

What is the best way to dissolve uric acid stones? The therapy of uric acid stones consists mostly of urine alkalinization to pH levels between 6.2 and 6.8. Urinary alkalization with potassium citrate or sodium bicarbonate is a very successful therapy that results in stone breakdown.

Is diabetes a possible cause of acidic urine? Conclusions: Despite adjustment for dietary variables, body size, and age, individuals with type 2 diabetes continue to have excessively acidic urine. The lower pH is a result of increased NAE and decreased utilization of ammonia buffers in diabetic individuals, which predisposes them to uric acid urolithiasis.

A friend of mine told me about a supplement and claimed that it helped him lower his fasting blood sugar count by 8 points and that his energy level was up also. I figured what the hell, I’d try it. I didn’t really see much in results at first but after about 3 weeks my fasting sugar count started to inch down and my energy levels were starting to rise. Now after 2 months of steady use my fasting sugar count is down a solid 12 points. My diet is a little better than my friends so I figure that might be the difference between his results and mine. I now have ordered a bottle of Liver Cleanse to add to the mix. I’ll post more when I’ve used it for a couple of months.

Why are uric acid crystals radiolucent?

The most prevalent cause of radiolucent kidney stones in children is uric acid stones (see figure below). Numerous purine metabolic products are highly insoluble and may precipitate at low urinary pH. Two or eight-dihydroxyadenine, adenine, xanthine, and uric acid are examples.

What is the pH of diabetic urine?

Patients with type 2 diabetes had a considerably lower 24-hour urine pH (5.45 0.27 against 5.90 0.42; P 0.01) and a significantly greater net acid excretion (NAE; 57 12 versus 38 18 mEq/d; P 0.01).

What causes my pee to be acidic?

Consumption of certain foods on a regular basis might impact the results of a urine pH test. Grains, drinks, seafood, sweet meals, and foods heavy in protein are all examples of highly acidic foods. Vegetables, nuts, and the majority of fruits are alkaline-forming foods. Medical problems.

What may happen if your uric acid level is abnormally elevated?

All I know is after taking this product for 6 months my A1C dropped from 6.8 (that I struggled to get that low) to 5.7 without a struggle. By that I mean I watched my diet but also had a few ooops days with an occasional cheat and shocked my Dr with my A1C test. Since then I have also had finger checks that average out to 117-120. I’m still careful but also thankful my numbers are so good!

Awesome Diabetes Method!

I became diabetic about 15 years ago, and for almost 17 years i worked a rapid rotational shift, switching shifts from days to nights every few days. Before, my numbers were often averaging 180 and over. Since i’ve watched this diabetes method, my numbers are averaging 140-150. I now have the time and energy to exercise. This is a huge gain for me. Little steps for improvement. At my last physical, it was averaging 7. I do expect it to be lower this year. For those of you who struggle with being diabetic, i highly recommend this method. You have nothing to lose except lower A1C results!
